Why was Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) added to my loan and what can I do to remove it?

Collateral Protection Insurance is added when we have not received full coverage proof of insurance in your name covering the collateral that is securing the loan with Peach State as the lien holder.

Maintaining insurance is a requirement of your loan and is described in your loan agreement. If proof of insurance is not received, you will receive letters from the credit union requesting this information. If you received a letter about this requirement, learn more here.
