What do I need to open an account?
Joining Peach State is easy! Once you’re ready to open an account, you’ll need the following:
- Picture ID: This can be a driver’s license, state issued ID or Passport. If you’re opening an account for a minor, a parent’s identification will be sufficient.
- Social Security Number: A social security number for each person on the account is required. We cannot open an account without a social security number.
- Membership and Savings Account Deposits: To join, you’ll need an initial deposit of $5. As a member, you will need to maintain this $5 balance in your savings account as this represents your shares in Peach State. You’ll also be required to pay a one-time membership fee of $5 and a $5 USA Patriot Act fee.
