Sole Proprietor, including DBA businesses- Business license from the city where the business is located (if applicable)
- Filed trade name registration from the county where located (if applicable)
- Certification of TIN or EIN from the IRS
Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- Business license from the city where the business is located (if applicable)
- Articles of Organization from Secretary of State (GA or SC)
- Copy of current operating agreement for the entity
- Certification of EIN from IRS
- Filed trade name registration (if applicable)
Incorporated Entity or Corporation
- Business license from the city where the business is located (if applicable)
- Articles of Incorporation from Secretary of State (GA or SC)¹
- Copy of current bylaws for the entity
- Certification of EIN from IRS
- Filed trade name registration (if applicable)
Non-Profit Organization
- Articles of Incorporation from Georgia or South Carolina Secretary of State (if incorporated)
- Certification of EIN from IRS
- Copy of organization bylaws
- Copy of minutes to meeting reflecting individuals authorized to open accounts
Unincorporated Partnership
- Business License from the city where the business is located (if applicable)
- Copy of partnership agreement for the entity
- Copy of EIN certification of the entity
- Filed trade name registration from the county where the business is located (if applicable)
