  • Summary

    To transfer loan documents to I-Power from Loans PQ daily. To maintain loan files and review loan packages for proper documentation and to generate exception reports for any discrepancies. To assist with Loan Operation functions and requests including lien releases, debt protection refunds, GAP claims, total loss claims and daily reporting.

     

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for transferring loan documents from the Doc Download to I-Power.
    • Responsible for examining loan documentation for accuracy and reporting errors for any
      exceptions. Submits the Doc Download Loan Audit and Product Class errors on a monthly basis.
    • Responsible for completing Debt Protection refunds.
    • Files all loan documentation and responsible for all loan folders. Maintains loan files according to the document retention policy. Processes loan payoffs, payments, and insurance checks.
    • Answers lending phone calls and provides support to the PSFCU lending teams for Loan
      Operations functions.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurements

    • To transfer loan documents accurately and timely.
    • Produce the required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
    • To complete debt protection refunds accurately and in a timely manner.

    Knowledge and Skills

    Experience | Three to five years of similar or related experience.

    Education | A high school education or GED.

    Interpersonal Skills | Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.

    Other Skills | Must have good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Cross sell credit union products and services.
    • Perform miscellaneous tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering the phone.
    • Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Provide friendly, professional, personalized service to members.
    • Ability to handle at least 100 transactions per day.
    • Process transactions accurately.
    • Balance cash drawer daily with minimal or no outages.
    • Comply with all regulatory requirements and credit union policies and procedures.

    The responsibilities of this position include performing a wide variety of sales and service transactions by phone, fax, or email, including but not limited to the following:

     

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming calls and assist members with account inquiries, review members accounts to identify and recommend appropriate products and services.

    • Act as liaison between members and other credit union departments.
    • Works hand in hand with all back office departments including: Operations, Loan Operations, Accounting, E-commerce/Card Services, Member Solutions.
    • Support and contribute to the success of the department by providing effective and efficient member services.
    • Navigate between multiple credit union systems (i.e. I-Power, Criterion, Client Workstation, etc)
    • Must be willing to work two or more Saturdays a month.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Prior customer service experience in the financial industry preferred

    • Ability to provide excellent member service over the phone/prior call center experience a plus

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to cross-sell products and services

    • Must be well organized and attentive to details

    • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment
