Float Teller - Winder/Jefferson Area

Role:

To insure members receive friendly, accurate, and timely assistance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
  • Travels to/from various branches as needed for staff coverage.
  • Posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member records.
  • Cross-sells credit union services.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
  • Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

  • To maintain a high skill level among tellers, schedule tellers to meet member demand at
  • a minimum of cost.
  • To provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members.
  • To balance at least 98% of the time, being no more than $25 off and with total offages not
  • To exceed $500 in a 12 month period.
  • To handle an average of at least 100 transactions per day.
  • To have no more than one posting error per month.
  • To successfully recommend a new product or service to 20% of all members you work with.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Education: A high school education or GED.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
  • Other Skills: Must have good communication skills for training other tellers. 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills. Accurate with numbers and names.

Operations Specialist I

Summary:

To perform a variety of functions in the operations department. These functions may include but are not limited to the following: check processing, ACH processing, wire transfers, dormant accounts, negative accounts, SEG payroll processing and IRA administration.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Processes one or more of the following within the timeframe required (not limited to these listed): share draft processing, ACH processing, negative accounts, dormant accounts, IRA administration, paperwork, wire transfers, subpoenas and/or SEG payrolls.
  • Coordinates workflow and scheduling in order to meet processing deadlines.
  • Researches problems or questions from members, clearinghouses, or correspondents.
  • Communicates with members or associates concerning transactions involving accounts; overdrafts, account closings, charges and fees, transfer of funds, etc.
  • Researches and resolves employee and member problems.
  • Cross trained in team member’s daily processes to assist when needed.
  • Completes daily metrics.
  • Maintains files and required documentation.
  • Performs other job or department related duties as assigned

Performance Measurements:

  • Carryout assigned responsibilities meeting all deadlines with respect to settlement activities, with minimum errors that result in losses to the Credit Union, in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This should be accomplished with zero unresolved errors.
  • Provide friendly informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
  • Complete assigned processes with limited errors while meeting required deadlines and policies.
  • Produce required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Education: A high school education or GED.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
  • Other Skills: 10-key proficiency; must be able to operate general office equipment including calculator, copy machine, Microsoft office, Microsoft excel, Microsoft Outlook, telephone; required lifting and motions tasks.

Network Support Specialist

Summary:

Candidate will be responsible for delivering IT, Computer and Network service and support for all of our offices. This includes both onsite and remote maintenance and troubleshooting.  The candidate must be able to support a Windows network environment. Great customer service, ability to multi-task, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (as required) is a must. This employee will report to the SVP of Information Technology.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of our IT infrastructure consisting of servers, phones, workstations, firewalls, routers, switches, applications, software, network circuits, etc.
  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and updating of documentation to include, but not limited to, site books, Visio drawings, service work order notes, changes/upgrades to environment.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and completion of assigned Service Work Orders and documentation within company established time frames.
  • Responsible for the identification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to our IT infrastructure. Such diversity of issues include:
    • Microsoft Office and other organization specific software
    • Handheld devices/Smart phones
    • Wireless networking
    • PC based applications
    • Server based applications
    • Centralized anti-virus protection
    • Content filtering appliances
    • Backup software and hardware
    • Windows server implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Printer spooling, driver and queue issues
    • UPS/cabling/utilities/ and other core infrastructure
    • Laptops
  • Adheres to standards and procedures for technology products and services.
  • Assist with restoring service in all aspects of the infrastructure to include: circuits, phones, network equipment, network congestion, servers and routing issues.
  • Participates in various projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the IT infrastructure.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd tier technical phone support to our end users.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating with the end user and administration through ongoing interaction, communication, support, and recommendations.
  • Participate in the development of technology recommendations and presentations as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must possess strong troubleshooting skills and proven expertise in the core areas of IT infrastructure (i.e. Networks; Microsoft 2012 & 2016 Servers/ADS; Windows 7/10)
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Strong customer service and both written/verbal communications skills.
  • Good judgment and analytical skills.
  • Ability to foster and work in a team environment, as well as work independently and be self-motivated and self-responsible.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills are necessary.
  • Dependability is a must.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Transportation and ability to drive between our various offices is also required.

Full-Time Teller - Greenwood, SC

Summary:

To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Call Center Representative

Primary Functions:

The responsibilities of this position include performing a wide variety of sales and service transactions by phone, fax, or email, including but not limited to the following:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist members with account inquiries, review members accounts to identify and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Complete account research and perform data entry to update and maintain member records.
  • Solve problems accurately and follow through on resolutions.
  • Act as liaison between members and other credit union departments.
  • Works hand in hand with all back office departments including: Operations, Loan Operations, Accounting, E-commerce/Card Services, Member Solutions.
  • Support and contribute to the success of the department by providing effective and efficient member services.
  • Navigate between multiple credit union systems (i.e. I-Power, Criterion, Client Workstation, etc)

Knowledge/skills:

  • Prior customer service experience in the financial industry preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent member service over the phone/prior call center experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cross-sell products and services
  • Must be well organized and attentive to details
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have strong computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Bosnian) skills a plus
