Teller - Panola Branch

Summary:

Assist members with their financial transactions while providing friendly, accurate, and timely service.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments as directed by the member.
  • Post transactions to member accounts.
  • Travel among the branches as needed to provide staffing coverage.
  • Welcome members to the branch and provide information about credit union services; direct members to the appropriate person/department to obtain specific information and services.
  • Cross sell credit union products and services.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering the phone.
  • Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

  • Provide friendly, professional, personalized service to members.
  • Ability to handle at least 100 transactions per day.
  • Process transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash drawer daily with minimal or no outages.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements and credit union policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience - One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education - A high school diploma or GED.

Interpersonal Skills - Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work
involves significant interaction with others inside and outside of the
organization to provide or obtain information, facilitate conversations, solicit
cooperation, and build relationships.

Other Skills - Operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Attention to
detail and high degree of accuracy with numbers and names.

Part Time Teller - Lawrenceville Branch

Summary

Looking for a career and not just a job? Are you outgoing and eager to help others? If so, Peach State Federal Credit Union is the place for you. We are seeking an individual who values providing exceptional member service to work in our Lawrenceville branch. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be good with math, and pay attention to details. The position requires candidates to be available to work a minimum of two Saturdays a month. Previous cash handling and/or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent member service with a smile and great attitude
  • Accurately process financial transactions for members including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and funds transfers
  • Balance a cash drawer
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services
  • Assist members with service requests and provide general information concerning products and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Commercial Loan Credit Analyst - Lakes Parkway (Corporate Office)

Summary:

Follows procedures to ensure required documentation is received and maintained for the Commercial/Business loan and underwriting process, to include performing cash flow underwriting analysis of commercial loans (office, retail, hospitality, warehouse/industrial, etc.),1-4 family dwellings, multi-family properties, vehicle loans, and credit card requests. Establish working relationships with vendors and work with vendors to request required supporting documentation such as appraisals, environmental reports, flood certifications, legal documents, etc. Create and manage working relationships with and support branch staff regarding business deposit and lending needs. Ensure that business loan records are accurately prepared according to Peach State Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Examines, evaluates, and makes recommendations on commercial/business loan applications and loan participation opportunities for commercial loans and lines of credit. This includes obtaining financial information from members/guarantors, analyzing financial data provided, preparing cash flow analysis and credit memos to include loan risk ratings, performing required site visits, and collecting updated documents to include insurance, tax information, loan histories, and corporate documents where applicable.
  • Cultivates and manage member relationships and responds to members who have business lending and banking questions.
  • Facilitates professional relationships with any and all vendors specific to the processing of business loans to include appraisers, environmentalists, attorneys, insurance companies, etc.
  • Complete annual review audits. Collect updated financial information and assist with preparation of business loan files.
  • Follows all policy and compliance procedures with regard to Member Business and Commercial Lending inquiries.
  • Supports the retail branch, Loans By Phone and credit union call center staff who have business loan and business relationship questions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use technology to perform the functions of the job effectively and efficiently. i.e., has good working knowledge of DropBox, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to a high level of analytical skills with high level of attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience - Five+ years of similar or related experience in commercial/business lending.
Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
