Peach State C.A.R.E.S.
Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations, making us dramatically different from other financial institutions. We have a responsibility to serve our community – not profit – which ensures that our focus remains on improving the lives of all our neighbors and beyond.
A Brand Promise
The heart of Peach State Federal Credit Union is found in our dedication to:
Peach State C.A.R.E.S. so that our members and communities may continue to grow.
Peach State shows that we care by reinvesting directly into our communities through donations to charitable organizations, and support for education and the arts.
We have put these efforts to support our communities on a self-sustaining path with our VISA® Debit Card program. For every purchase made with a Peach State VISA® Debit Card, we donate a nickel to the non-profits, school systems, and the arts in the communities within our footprint.1

Community
Supporting our members where they live, work and play is part of Peach State’s daily business. From donating money and goods to charity events, to collecting food year-round for food banks in our footprint, Peach State supports numerous charitable endeavors such as Relay For Life and the Salvation Army. We invested more than $450,000 into community organizations in 2018 alone.
Arts
As a supporter of the arts in our community, Peach State sponsors several theatres, including Lawrenceville’s Aurora Theatre and Habersham Community Theatre, ensuring that theatre is accessible to everyone in the community. Through our sponsorship at the Aurora, we’ve been able to bring some of the most famous musicals, including Les Misérables and Mary Poppins, closer to home.
Responsibility
At Peach State we believe that as a strong financial institution that is fully invested in our community, we have a responsibility to help strengthen individuals for the benefit of present and future generations. Peach State is proud to have been certified by the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), which recognizes our outreach into underserved communities. CDFIs are dedicated to delivering responsible, affordable lending to help disadvantaged people and underserved communities to join the economic mainstream.

Education
Since our founding in 1961 by Gwinnett County School teachers, we have maintained a focus on education. We do this through our annual Scholarship Program and supporting local school systems through events like Teacher of the Year, which ensures that hard-working educators are recognized for their dedication and commitment.

Service
It is our mission to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our member-owners. We believe the best way to serve our members is to offer affordable, quality products and services designed to fit their lives. We serve our staff with a strong benefits package and offer development programs that provide opportunities to further their careers.
